Exploration and Production segment explores and develops oil fields, as well as produces and sells crude oil and natural gas. Refining segment processes and purifies crude oil and manufactures and sells petroleum products to the Chemicals and Marketing and Distribution segments and external customers. Marketing and Distribution segment owns and operates oil depots and service stations in China and distributes and sells refined oil products through wholesale and retail networks. Chemicals segment manufactures and sells petrochemical products, derivative petrochemical products and other chemical products to external customers. Corporate and Others segment comprises trading activities of the import and export companies and research and development undertaken by other subsidiaries.
